Taylor Hall, Sami Vatanen, Nico Hischier, Keith Kinkaid and the New Jersey Devils will close out their season series against the Columbus Blue Jackets when the teams face off at 7 p.m. on Tuesday at the Prudential Center in Newark.

The Blue Jackets won the last two games between the teams after the Devils won the first matchup in Columbus. The Devils lost, 6-1, in the last game on Feb. 10.

The Devils have won four in a row and will be looking to match their season-high winning streak of five games.

More to know: The Devils hold a seven-point lead of the Blue Jackets in the standings, and Columbus is on the outside looking in for the playoffs. The Devils are trying to replicate what the Blue Jackets did last season in making a big jump to the playoffs, but they know how easily things can swing in the other direction.

“Columbus is a good learning opportunity for us,” forward Taylor Hall said. “They had 108 points last year, and now they’re fighting for a playoff spot. So it can go just as quickly, and we have to really make sure we value the spot that we’re in and take advantage of it.”
