With a lot of turn over in the lineup already, the Rangers will have a brand-new look next season. What will the back end look like for New York?

This isn’t the Rangers team that took the ice to begin the season. Not even close. With trades, call-ups, injuries and now an emphasis on rebuilding, New York has a new look. That isn’t saying that the team out on the ice right now, however, will resemble the one on the ice next season.

As rebuilds go, the overhaul at the trade deadline is usually just the beginning. The Rangers are hoping they have enough current NHL talent that with an infusion of youth through the draft and through already acquired prospects, they can challenge for the playoffs next season. But that doesn’t mean there isn’t plenty of work left.

It isn’t clear-cut what the team will look like next season. Sure the top line of Buchnevich, Kreider, and Zibanejad will be intact. Brady Skjei will be the top player on the blue line. Henrik Lundqvist will be the goaltender. But not much else is certain. One of the biggest positions of interest will be the blue line. Who will New York have there next season? Here is what the Rangers top six will look like next season.
