Wednesday NHL action pits the Boston Bruins against the Philadelphia Flyers.

The Boston Bruins have followed a four game winning streak with losses in two of three after a 3-2 OT defeat to visiting Montreal on Monday. Brad Marchand and David Krejci tallied for the Bruins with Marchand adding an assist while Tuukka Rask allowed three goals on 23 shots.

Brendan Gallagher and Paul Byron scored in regulation for the Canadiens with Jeff Petry scoring the winner 15 seconds in to overtime. Antti Niemi picked up the win for Montreal with a monster 43 saves.

The Philadelphia Flyers turned to their offense Monday in outscoring Minnesota 7-4. Jason Zucker, Joel Eriksson, Marcus Foligno and Ryan Suter lit the lamp for Minnesota while Devan Dubnyk getting the loss with five goals on 21 shots before Alex Stalock stopped 4-5 shots in relief.

James van Riemsdyk paced the Philadelphia with a hat trick with Nolan Patrick and Wayne Simmonds each supplying two goals. Scott Laughton, Claude Giroux and Radko Gudas added two helpers each for the Flyers with Carter Hart getting the win with four goals allowed on 38 shots.
